KRASNODAR, Aug 8 (PRIME) – The farmers of Russia’s Krasnodar Region have harvested bumper winter crops, including 10.7 million tonnes of wheat, the government of the region said in a statement on Monday quoting Governor Veniamin Kondratyev.
“This year, 12.4 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops have been harvested from the region's fields,” the statement read.
“This includes 10.7 million tonnes of wheat. We have never had such a harvest before.”
